What is Yoga Fuel Hot Practice?
Formulated specifically for yoga students, Hot Practice capsules provide an electrolyte replenishment and a herbal energy builder – exactly what your body needs to get the most out of your practice. They reduce fatigue and increase stamina so that you can totally focus on your practice.

When do I take Yoga Fuel Hot Practice?

How many Yoga Fuel Hot Practice capsules do I take?
Take 3 Hot Practice capsules with 12oz of water before practice.

I have a sensitive stomach and am concerned about taking three capsules as it might upset my stomach. What should I do?
Yoga practitioners who have a sensitive stomach have had success with Yoga Fuel by starting with one capsule and increasing the number of capsules they take over time. After a few practices they progress to two. When they are sure they are comfortable with two they take three. Only you know your body so increase the number of capsules when you think your stomach is ready. Remember, it is important to drink a full 12 ounces of water with Yoga Fuel at least 20 to 30 minutes before practice.

When using this gradual approach be aware that you will not be getting the full benefits of Yoga Fuel until you take three capsules.

I sometimes practice yoga twice a day. What is the maximum amount of Yoga Fuel Hot Practice I should take in a day?
If you practice twice a day, sweat vigorously at each practice and you are not on a high sodium diet, the recommended maximum number of Hot Practice capsules for one day is 4. For example, you could take 2 capsules before each practice totaling 4 capsules for the day. If you practice more than twice a day the recommended maximum is still 4.

What are electrolytes?
Electrolytes are substances that dissociate into ions (electrically charged atoms or atom groups) when they melt or are dissolved, thus serving to conduct electricity. Electrolytes are critical to the proper distribution of water, muscle contraction and expansion, transmission of nerve impulses, delivery of oxygen to body tissues and heart rate and rhythm.

Why do I need to replenish electrolytes?
Exercise such as yoga raises the total metabolism of the body by 5 to 15 times the resting rate. Most of the energy (70 to 90 percent) is released as heat, which is partially dissipated by the evaporation of sweat. Electrolytes are lost through sweating. This can cause electrolyte insufficiency and imbalances. The most important electrolytes lost are sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium. Allowing electrolyte concentrations to fall below normal through the process of sweating can contribute to many heat-related problems. The problems can include muscular cramping, dehydration, headaches, gastrointestinal upset, nausea and fluid retention.

Yoga Fuel Hot Practice helps prevent electrolyte insufficiency and electrolyte imbalances which can cause problems such as muscular cramping during yoga practice.
